Preparatory Enrollment Program
The Preparatory Enrollment Program is a bridge program for Rhode Island first-generation high school students – supporting their admission to 91¸£ÀûÉç and their development as a 91¸£ÀûÉç student. First-generation high school seniors can apply to the program via 91¸£ÀûÉç's Common Application. The deadline to apply is February 1 of senior year.
Project ExCEL
Project ExCEL is an academic initiative at 91¸£ÀûÉç to expand college access for talented bilingual students. In close partnership with high school counselors, Project ExCEL enrolls bilingual students with established academic success, and provides them with the support needed to pursue and achieve a 91¸£ÀûÉç degree.
Foster Care Youth Scholarship Program
Our program aims to provide transformative educational opportunities for Foster Care youth by providing a pathway to admission, academic and personal success, and degree completion at 91¸£ÀûÉç.
Pathways Program – Center for First Generation Social Work Student Success
Our Pathways Program helps you apply to and complete your Social Services - Social Work Associates Degree at CCRI and transfer to 91¸£ÀûÉç to complete a Social Work undergraduate and graduate degree (BSW and MSW).
Programs that Support You Before, During, and After College
Upward Bound Program
The 91¸£ÀûÉç Upward Bound Program serves low-income, first-generation high school students - assisting them in graduating from high school and completing a college degree. Upward Bound at 91¸£ÀûÉç – the only Upward Bound location in RI.
Student Support Services
The primary goal of 91¸£ÀûÉç's Student Support Services is to assist first-generation 91¸£ÀûÉç students in completing their 91¸£ÀûÉç degree. Student Support Services offerings are broad - guiding students as whole individuals and meeting their varied needs.
McNair Scholars Program
The McNair Scholars Program provides guidance, resources and support to first-generation junior year 91¸£ÀûÉç students who want to pursue a graduate or PhD program. McNair Scholars also pursue an individual research project, and often an accompanying internship, under the guidance of a faculty member.
